Dear all,
We are only a few days away from the DC Jam.
We are very fortunate to have Kenneth Roberts facilitating us through this pivotal moment. We can already say that his skilled facilitation has been of tremendous help. And under his leadership, the design team composed of Jodi, Robin, Svenja, Tom & me has worked hard on the design of those 3 days.
Now, from Monday onwards the design team will be on-site. Our official kick-off will be at Potter’s House at 10.00 am on Tuesday, March 1st and we will end with a big bang at the Mellow Mushroom on Thursday evening, March 3rd. Many will stay on for Friday, March 4th for a post-day.
We expect a total of 17 confirmed participants with an additional member still undecided. On Wednesday, March 2nd, small teams of members will visit in parallel the UN Foundation, the World Bank, the IFC and 2 Global Shapers, one of them being the director of the Collaboratory at the State Department. We will pitch our venture plan and gather their reactions.
Most important though, here is how you can contribute!
Every evening at around 6 pm EST, we will post a blog (or several) which sums up what we have been working on. Please read them and post your comments either before going to bed (US) or before you get to work (EU) or whenever you manage (Asia)!
If you want to join via video, please contact Svenja.
Already a big thank you to all of you who have so generously given time and thought. It’s been a tremendous few weeks with a flurry of activities that really proves that this community is alive and kicking.
All the best,
Jodi, Robin, Svenja, Tom, Kenneth & Patrick
